We offer a variety of progressive youth tennis classes at the John & Fay Menard YMCA Tennis Center.

The Eau Claire YMCA and Hickory Hills Golf Course are happy to offer Eau Claire area youth instruction on the great game of golf!  Y-Tee of the Chippewa Valley is dedicated to enhancing the lives of youth through character development and value-driven educational curriculum all through the game of golf. This fun-filled program offers three levels of golf education that are geared to various ages and ability levels. You will begin by learning the basic components of a golf swing and course. As golfers advance, they will continue to learn more rules, goal setting, golf etiquette and build off their existing skill level.

Here is some important information for you:

  1. Coaches - We need coaches! As part of the registration, we will ask if you are willing to coach your daughter’s team. We want at least two coaches per team, so don’t forget to sign up to coach! We will be providing three coaches clinics for you and give you plenty of resources to develop your coaching skills. These clinics will be taught by both the North and Memorial Head Varsity coaches.
  2. Tournament Dates - The dates for the tournaments are as follows: March 13, March 20, March 27, April 3 (Easter weekend), April 10, April 17, April 24 as well as May 1, May 8. Your daughter will play in three or four of these tournaments. Tournaments will be hosted within 2 hours of Eau Claire. Each team will have an opportunity to play in up to 12 matches during this Spring season.
  3. Practices - Practices will begin on March 1st and will run to the end of the season – May 4th. We will be able to offer one practice per week at the Eau Claire YMCA Sports Center (on Craig Road). The practices may be held Mondays or Tuesdays between the hours of 5:15 pm and 8:45 pm. We hope to add a second practice per week as gym space opens up.
  4. Registration Fee - The registration fee of $100 will cover practice space, tournament fees (up to 12 matches per team), uniforms, and equipment. .
