4K Program - CHIPPEWA FALLS 4K CARDINALS

The YMCA Early Learning Community partners with the Chippewa Falls School District for the Chippewa Falls 4K Cardinals program, to better prepare students for kindergarten. The program focuses on school readiness.

​

Our 4K classes continue to build social and emotional skills along with academic skills, using the same curriculum and standards as the Chippewa Falls School District, which include the Wisconsin Model Early Learning Standards (WMELS), Pyramid Model, and PBIS (Positive Behavioral Intervention and Supports). 

​

Each class has the following centers and activities to provide children with age-appropriate toys and activities perfect for optimal growth and development.

​

4K Cardinals runs in accordance to the Chippewa Falls Unified School District calendar. This program meets Monday-Thursday and the YMCA offers both a morning and afternoon session.

 

MAJOR PERK OF ENROLLING AT THE YMCA:  Families with children enrolled in 4K Cardinals through the YMCA receive a FREE YMCA Family Membership for the duration of the school year they are enrolled!
