YMCA enrichment programs provide safe, nurturing, and hands-on activities for children and teens designed to foster social, physical, and academic growth. These programs often include S.T.E.A.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Math), arts and crafts, cooking, and music & movement. They are aimed at building confidence, creativity, and new friendships.

Join us for a fun morning of family connection and play on the first Friday of each month! Families can enjoy board games, toys, and activities together during Child Watch hours at the YMCA. This free program is for members, with games suitable for ages 3–10, but all ages are welcome. Parents must be present to share in the laughter and memories!

Is your child ready to stay home alone, watch younger brothers and sisters while you�re away from the house, or babysit for younger children? Then maybe it�s time for Safe Sitter�. Safe Sitter� is for boys and girls in grades 6-8 who are ready to learn the skills they need to care for themselves and younger children. Safe Sitter� teaches young teens how to practice important safety skills, how to handle emergencies, and how to treat illnesses and injuries. In addition, students learn important business skills, such as how to screen jobs, set a wage, and work with employers.

Safe @ Home Course

Students learn how to practice safe habits, how to prevent unsafe situations, and what to do when faced with dangers such as power failures or weather emergencies. Students are also introduced to the Safe Sitter� First Aid Chart and learn a system to help them assess and respond to injuries and illnesses. The program is designed to prepare students for their first steps towards independence. Geared towards students in grades 4th-6th.
