LIVESTRONG®

LIVESTRONG® at the YMCA is a free 12-week evidence-based program, tailored to the specific needs of adult cancer survivors who would like to improve their quality of life before, during, and after treatment. We offer small group sessions to connect participants to other cancer survivors looking to reclaim their lives. Our certified instructors and personal trainers have undergone specialized training in the elements of cancer, rehabilitative exercise, and supportive cancer care. During the 12 weeks, instructors will guide participants in developing their own health and wellness program, including strength, cardiovascular endurance, balance,  and flexibility. After completing and submitting this form, the LIVESTRONG Program Coordinator will contact you with additional information and answer any additional questions. A  FREE one year family membership is included with this program.

Our Youth Basketball Class is designed for 6 to 8 year olds and 9 to 11 year olds who are ready to build their skills and confidence on the court. Players will work on basketball fundamentals such as dribbling, passing, shooting, defense, spacing, teamwork, and game awareness through fun drills and age appropriate activities. This class is a great opportunity for kids to learn the game, stay active, and continue developing in a positive and encouraging environment. Off Thanksgiving week.

Festival Foods Turkey Trot

Recovery & Mental Health Resource Fair

The Stronger Together Recovery and Mental Health Resource Fair is a free event designed for the general public, offering a wealth of resources related to substance use disorder recovery and mental health, all conveniently located in one place at one time. We encourage you to engage creatively with demonstrations and activities that showcase different services.

The event will feature a children's play area, three - 15-minute speakers and a 30 minute presentation by Sagent Behavioral Health. This gathering is not only an opportunity to connect with organizations that educate, inform, and provide resource materials, but also serves as a platform to discover more about mental health resources.
