Some of the offerings at the YMCA of the Chippewa Valley have capacity limits because of equipment or to accommodate social distancing. The Y wants to ensure you can attend a group exercise class or swim laps when you come in so we are introducing our new reservation system. It’s simple to navigate. And you’ll know your spot is waiting for you when you arrive at the Y. 

Instructions and answers to your reservation questions are as follows:

What offerings require reservations? 

  • Open/Lap swim - Lap swim times that require a reservation can be found in our Mobile App. All other times are being conducted on a first come, first serve basis. 
  • Family swim zone 
  • Select Group Exercise Classes in Chippewa Falls
  • Racquetball 

How do I make a reservation?

  • Watch this video for a tutorial 
  • Read these step-by-step instructions:
    • From your computer, go to www.ymca-cv.org
      Please note that reservations are available 3 days prior to the reservation start time.
    • Select: MAKE A RESERVATION under the Group Ex Pro logo
    • Read reservation information.
    • You can now filter reservation options by category, location, class name and/or instructor.
    • When you’re ready to make a reservation:
      • Read the reservation DESCRIPTION
      • Select SIGN UP
      • Create a Log In - this is only needed for your first reservation
        • Enter your Full name, email address and then create and confirm your password
      • Now Log In -
        • Enter your email address and password
      • You have been logged into the reservation system.
      • Select RESERVE A SPOT
      • Your spot is now reserved. You will receive an email to confirm. If you would like to add this reservation to your calendar, select the calendar icon.
      • If you need to cancel your reservation, open the existing reservation again and select CANCEL RESERVATION.

How far in advance can I  make a reservation?
Reservations will be taken at least 72 hours in advance. A confirmation email will be sent.

What if I come to the Y without a reservation and want to participate in these offerings?
Reservations are strongly encouraged because space is limited. Any open spots can be reserved in person at the Member Service Desk.

How do I cancel a reservation?
Log into the reservation system and choose the class that you registered for. Click “Sign Up” and then when the window opens, click on “Cancel Reservation”. 

The YMCA of the Chippewa Valley will review our offerings and guidelines regularly. Updates will be communicated through email, our website and social media. In addition, we will continue providing virtual resources for our members who are still sheltering at home.
