YMCA PARENTS' NIGHT OUT
The YMCA of the Chippewa Valley offers monthly Parents' Night Out Events at the Chippewa Falls and Eau Claire Downtown YMCA locations. Age appropriate activities include board games, crafts, gym time, movies, and pizza for dinner for the children!
This service is FREE for those who have YMCA Family Memberships.
When is this service available?

TIME: 6:00-9:00 PM

Chippewa Falls YMCA - 2nd Friday of every month (March 8, April 12, May 10, June 14, July 12, August 9, etc)

Eau Claire Downtown YMCA - 2nd Friday of every month (March 8, April 12, May 10, June 14, July 12, August 9, etc)
What is the cost?
Parents' Night Out is FREE with YMCA Family Memberships. There is NO cost associated with this monthly service.
How does registration work?

Registration opens for one month at a time.

Enrollment will begin on the second Saturday of the month for the next month's event

Enrollment closes on the Monday prior to the event.
- Spots are available on a first-come, first-serve basis and are available to YMCA Family Memberships only.

If your branch is FULL, you can either register at the other branch or add your child to the waitlist and we will do our best to increase staff to get your child enrolled!

For children 3 years old and potty trained through 5th grade.

A pizza dinner will be provided for the children.

Children of all ages are encouraged to bring a labeled water bottle.

This service follows licensing procedures but IS NOT a licensed childcare program.
*Eau Claire Downtown YMCA Families - When registering your child(ren) for Parents Night Out, we ask that you register them to the correct room in relation to their age.

EAU CLAIRE DOWNTOWN YMCA EVENT INFORMATION
Here is a quick overview of our evening:

6:00-6:45 PM: PIZZA and Board Games
-
Pizza will be provided by Toppers and children will have a choice between cheese and pepperoni.

7:00-8:15 PM: Gym, Pool Time, & Play
-
3-5 year olds play in the Child Watch area
-
6-8 year olds go to the gym
-
9 years and older swim in the pool. Any child 9 or older who does not swim will go to the gym with the 6-8 year olds.

8:15-9:00 PM: Movie and Board Games

9:00 PM: Pick Up!

Pick Up and Drop Off Procedures

Ages 3-5:

Parents will now drop off their children directly in the Child Watch room.

Please enter the Main Y building through Entrance D (Main Y Entrance), please scan your card as normal building entry procedures, then proceed to the Child Watch Room to check in your child(ren). After drop off, you can then exit the building through any of the normal exits.

When picking up, once again, please enter through the Entrance D. Please do so by 9 PM as the doors auto lock at that time. After picking up your child, you can then exit through any of the exits.

This change is to increase child safety and building security. Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.

Ages 6-9+:

Drop off and pick up will be at the Clubhouse/Treehouse across the street from the main YMCA building.

During the evening, if you need to reach the parent’s night out staff, you can call the Clubhouse at 715-839-4625 or the Treehouse at 715-839-4601. Child Watch can be reached at 715-839-4629.
CHIPPEWA FALLS YMCA EVENT INFORMATION
Here is a quick overview of our evening:

6:45-7:30 PM: Gym or Pool Time

5 years and younger will go to the gym, 8 years and older will have the choice between gym and pool.

7:30-9:00: Movie

9:00: Pick Up!

We will have children in pajamas upon pick up. All you have to do is brush their teeth and slide them into bed!

Items to bring:

Bring a water bottle.

Have your child dressed already in their pajamas.
-
8 years and older, please be dressed in swimsuits under pajamas when you arrive.
Drop Off/Pick Up Information
Here is some information on drop off and pick up. We will be utilizing a car line drop off/pick up procedure so that, if you so choose, you don’t even need to leave your car!
Drop Off/Pick Up
Enter through the main YMCA front doors! Parents will be walking their children into the building and signing them in at the table near the entrance. From there, you will walk your child to the correct classroom. At pick up, you will walk into the building through the same main entrance and a staff member will bring your child to you.
During the evening if you have anything to relay to the staff, please call the front desk of your center. This could be a change in pick up personnel, a message to your child(ren), or just to show some love to our front desk staff.

Just a reminder our staff will be ready at 6 PM for your child. If you arrive early, you may be asked to wait until then.
Doors to the YMCA will be locked from 7:00-8:30 PM. If you are unable to make it or you need to pick up your child early, please make arrangements at drop off or email Brenda Johnson at bjohnson@ymca-cv.org.
