Youth Strength & Conditioning - Spring Break

Spring 2026

This class is designed for 10 to 13-year-olds and focuses on improving the physical fitness and athletic abilities of young participants through a variety of exercises and training techniques. The class typically includes age-appropriate workouts designed to enhance strength and flexibility while promoting proper movement patterns and injury prevention. The program is designed to cater to different skill levels, allowing kids to progress at their own pace while learning about fitness and maintaining an active lifestyle.

Tuesdays & Thursdays, March 3-26, 2026

4:30-5:20 PM

Youth and teen gym learning focuses on building confident, safe, and capable movers. Through guided instruction on fundamental movement skills, proper technique, and gym etiquette, participants develop movement literacy that translates to everyday life and sport.

Youth Fitness Orientation

Those 12 years old and up are welcome to use the equipment in the fitness centers at the Chippewa Falls YMCA & Eau Claire Downtown YMCA. We offer individualized orientations that help each child safely and appropriately use the equipment so that they can make the most of their time using the fitness center.

Youth Performance Training

The program is designed to build self-confidence and athletic fundamentals such as strength, conditioning, endurance, speed, and change direction with a focus on injury prevention. Youth Performance Training is great for all ability levels as we cater to each person's strengths and weaknesses. This program can be general or sports-specific. We offer individual, partner, and small group options.

LIVESTRONG® Alumni Open Pickleball

Year-Round

LIVESTRONG® past participants are welcome to come together and enjoy open pickleball. This group is offered year-round on Mondays in the Eau Claire Downtown YMCA Hobbs Gym. This group comes together for fun, socialization, connection, and movement.

Long Hauler Cancer Survivor Group

Winter 2026

This is a group for long-term cancer survivors living with stage 4 or long-term metastatic disease. In a nurturing environment, long-haul thrivers are welcome to discuss their experiences, challenges and victories.

Give the most important gift, the gift that gives patients in need more time with loved ones. It doesn’t cost a thing, just 1 hour of your time can help up to 3 patients in the coming weeks! There’s an Emergency Need for types O & B- donors especially due to low supplies. Scheduling an appointment is encouraged but walk-ins are welcome!
