Young Player Academy

This is an opportunity for the young basketball player (minimum of 1 year of league experience) to take their game to the next level. This academy will help improve basketball fundamentals through intense skill work and game-like drills. This is not for beginners but for those looking for more advanced basketball training. Players should know the rules, basic fundamentals and terminology already.

Girls Basketball Training Camp

Raise your basketball game to the next level! This camp is designed for those with at least 2 years of basketball tournament/league experience. This training camp is broken into two sections. Basketball skills and drills and then strength and conditioning. Students will work on improving fundamentals and basketball IQ/ awareness through game like drills and intense skill work (individually and small group). They will improve their ball handling, passing, finishing and shooting. The second section will be strength and conditioning focusing on improving the physical fitness and athletic abilities of participants through a variety of exercises and training techniques. The class typically includes age-appropriate workouts designed to enhance strength and endurance while promoting proper movement patterns and injury prevention.

Adult Basketball League - Team Registration

Join us for Adult Basketball at the YMCA! This 5 versus 5 league is a great way to stay active, compete, and enjoy organized basketball in a fun league setting. Players may register as individuals or as a full team. Each team should have a minimum of 5 players and a maximum of 12 players. The league has a maximum of 12 teams. Games are played on Thursday nights, with game start times scheduled between 5:30 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. The number of weeks in the season is equal to the minimum number of guaranteed games. YMCA members and nonmembers are welcome to play! Nonmembers registering with a team must purchase a $15 play in fee. Individual signups do not need to purchase a separate play in fee, even if they are nonmembers. All payments are non refundable unless an individual registrant is not placed on a team or there is not enough interest to form an individual signup team. In that case, the individual registrant will be refunded. Early Bird Discount: Team Pricing is $335 ending on August 12.
