This class focuses on developing strong basketball fundamentals. Players will practice ball handling, passing, shooting, defense, and basic game concepts. The goal is to improve skills, build confidence, and help players grow their understanding of the game.

7th/8th Grade Boys 3v3

Join one of our summer 3v3 Basketball Leagues at the YMCA! Each division is split by grade (5th/6th or 7th/8th) based on the 26-27 school year and gender. Each session will consist of two games each league day, giving teams consistent reps and competitive play in a fast paced format. Teams can register together, or players may sign up individually. Individual registrants will be grouped with other individuals or placed on an existing team when possible. If you are not placed on a team, you will receive a full refund. Summer Leagues are a long standing part of the Chippewa Valley YMCA's basketball tradition, providing teams with a fun and competitive way to stay active during the summer. Participants must register as a team, with rosters consisting of a minimum of 8 players and a maximum of 14 players. Each team will play double headers each league night, maximizing game play and development.

Western Wisconsin Women's Basketball League

The Western Wisconsin Women's Basketball League enables female players an opportunity to continue to improve their basketball skills during the summer. The league is open to all women who have graduated high school. Due to NCAA regulations, current D1 scholarship players are not eligible. Teams will play two games a night. Game times 5:30-8:00.

This is an opportunity for the young basketball player (minimum of 1 year of league experience) to take their game to the next level. This academy will help improve basketball fundamentals through intense skill work and game-like drills. This is not for beginners but for those looking for more advanced basketball training. Players should know the rules, basic fundamentals and terminology already.

Girls Basketball Training Camp

Raise your basketball game to the next level! This camp is designed for those with at least 2 years of basketball tournament/league experience. This training camp is broken into two sections. Basketball skills and drills and then strength and conditioning. Students will work on improving fundamentals and basketball IQ/ awareness through game like drills and intense skill work (individually and small group). They will improve their ball handling, passing, finishing and shooting. The second section will be strength and conditioning focusing on improving the physical fitness and athletic abilities of participants through a variety of exercises and training techniques. The class typically includes age-appropriate workouts designed to enhance strength and endurance while promoting proper movement patterns and injury prevention.
