Shift Availability:
15-20 hour per week. Evenings & Weekends. Typically between 7:00 PM and Midnight.
About the Role
Join our team at the YMCA, where we create a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all. This position under the supervision of the Executive Director of our Menomonie locations. This position is responsible for supporting overall facility maintenance, preventative maintenance, and general upkeep of YMCA equipment and spaces. The role also assists with janitorial services and responds to emergency repairs as needed.
Key Qualifications
Key Qualifications
Must be 18 years of age or older
Must successfully pass a background check
Ability to go up and down stairs and perform physical tasks
Knowledge of cleaning methods, tools, and equipment
Understanding of cleaning compounds and chemicals, including their safe and efficient use
Preferred Qualifications
Previous custodial or maintenance experience in a public facility or similar environment
Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and proper chemical handling
