About the Role
The Soccer Lead Youth Instructor at the YMCA Sports Center is responsible for leading engaging, age-appropriate soccer programs that help youth develop fundamental skills, confidence, teamwork, and sportsmanship. This position will lead classes, support and mentor other instructors, help create a positive and inclusive environment, and ensure participants have a safe, fun, and rewarding experience. The ideal candidate has a passion for soccer and youth development, strong communication skills, and previous experience coaching or working with children. This role also provides an opportunity to help grow and expand soccer programming at the YMCA Sports Center, with an active voice in developing new programs, improving existing offerings, and making decisions that shape the future of youth soccer at the Y.
Key Qualifications
Must be 18 Years or older
Soccer experience
Ability to create a fun, safe, inclusive, and positive environment for all participants.
Passion for youth development and helping children build confidence, teamwork, sportsmanship, and physical skills.
