Winter Youth Basketball League
Build basketball skills, confidence, teamwork, and a love for the game in a positive league for all experience levels!
TEAM FORMATION:
Players register individually. Teams are built using grade, school, requests, basketball experience, division preference, available coaches, and registration numbers. Requests cannot be guaranteed.
NEW THIS YEAR: DIVISION PREFERENCES
Families select Competitive, Developmental, or No Preference.
Competitive: Faster paced play for experienced players ready for increased competition.
Developmental: Teaching focused play for players building skills and confidence.
No Preference: The YMCA selects the best available placement.
Preferences are not guarantees. Separate divisions will be offered only when registration and team composition allow. Final formats are based on player experience, coach availability, and team balance. Rules may vary slightly between divisions.

Practices begin the week of November 29, 2026 and meet once per week through February. Volunteer coaches select days and times based on gym availability.
Eight Saturday game weeks run January 9 through February 27, 2027.
Estimated windows: 1st Grade, 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.; 2nd Grade, 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.; 3rd Grade, noon to 4:00 p.m.
