WHAT IS WELCOMING WEEK AT THE YMCA?  

Welcoming Week strives to connect our community to the YMCA. Come in and take a tour, join a class, learn more about our YMCA from September 12-21, 2025. During this week, YMCA activities listed below are FREE to the community. Find your BELONGING, find your YMCA. Scroll down to see all the offerings available to you. See you at the Y!

Please note Child Watch will NOT be available for guests visiting the YMCA during Welcoming Week. However guest are welcome to peak in to see what it is like.

Association Wide

  • Come in and take a tour, join a class, learn more about our YMCA.

Special Events

  • Friday, September 12

    • Free Family Fun Zone at the YMCA Sports Center - 9:00 AM-11:30 AM - learn more

      • A certified child passenger safety specialist will be in attendance to answer parents questions about car seats and boosters.​

    • Free Family Night at the YMCA Sports Center - 5:00-8:00 PM - learn more​

  • Tuesday, September 16

    • Free Open Pickleball at the YMCA Sports Center - 9 AM-4:30 PM​

    • Free Open Volleyball at the YMCA Sports Center - 7-9 PM

  • Friday, September 19

    • Free Pool Party at the Eau Claire South YMCA from 4-7 PM.​​

  • Sunday, September 21

    • Free Family Pool Party at the Chippewa Falls YMCA! Join us from 1-3 PM for music, games, and prizes in the pool!​​
