About the Role

Position Summary

The YMCA of the Chippewa Valley is seeking a creative, mission-driven part-time Content Marketing Specialist to help bring our impact to life across the community. This role is central to telling the stories that matter, highlighting how the Y supports youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. The Content Marketing Specialist will support marketing strategy and execution through engaging content creation, campaign support, and storytelling that inspires participation, connection, and support.


Key Responsibilities

Bring Stores to Life

  • Capture and share real-life meaningful stories that highlight the YMCA’s impact in the community

  • Create engaging content for social media, email, website, and print materials

  • Interview members, staff, and program participants to highlight authentic, human-centered stories

Marketing Strategy & Campaign Support

  • Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns, promotions, and seasonal initiatives

  • Align content with YMCA priorities such as membership growth, program participation, and community engagement

  • Collaborate with program directors and leadership to identify storytelling opportunities

Champion the Y’s Mission & Brand

  • Ensure all content reflects YMCA voice, values, and brand standards

  • Communicate the Y’s mission clearly, consistently, and compellingly across all platforms

Marketing Implementation

  • Support email marketing campaigns, website updates, and promotional materials

  • Help manage a content calendar and ensure timely delivery of marketing initiatives

Qualifications

  • A minimum of five years of experience in marketing, and communications

  • Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to craft compelling, human-centered stories

  • Familiarity with social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram) and content creation tools

  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Passion for community impact and alignment with the YMCA mission
